NO SCHOOL

School is finally over for me. I was both happy and sad to get out for the year. Now, many of you may be asking youself why I would be sad to get out for the year. Well, I guess I am somewhat sentimental. I liked most of the classes that I was with this year. I am kind of sad that they will not be with me next year. I will have to get used to everyone all over again. Not to mention that they will have to get used to me.

On Saturday, I went to a Dodgers/Indians game at Dodger Stadium. Calvin, Stacy's dad, had acquired some tickets from a family in the stake. The seats were fabulous. We were 4 rows behind the backstop, just to the left of the left handed batterbox. Unfortunately Matt Kemp did not charge the mound. No one was kicked out to of the game. Other than that, it was a great game to watch. At gametime, the temperature on the field was a blissful 110 degrees. It was uncomfortable but we had all the free food and drinks that we wanted. It think that I drank at least 10 bottles of water and had 6-7 ice cream sticks. The other nice thing about sitting in the rich seats was that we also got free sun screen.

Even though I had a lot of fun at the game, I am still an Angels fan. I almost have that much fun sitting in the upper rows at Angel Staduim. Just the same, it was a wonderful experience. I have added some pictures that will show just how close we were to the field.

What's the update on your hip? I assume you are ok since you are off at baseball games... but since only death could keep you away, that doesn't really say much.
